United Methodist Women (UMW) welcomes women like you–women who care about other women and their children–women who want to invest their lives in spreading the light of Christ through the world–women who want to make a difference.

We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand global ministries of the church.

Our focus is helping women and children locally, nationally, and internationally. We contribute to over twenty-five mission related orgainzations: mission groups of our church as well as local, state, national and international groups that represent this focus.

Our UMW produces an annual Mother-Daughter Banquet that gives us an opportunity to meet the families and extended families of our members. A spirited, creative event, this is a time that inspires, unites, and encourages women and their families.  Since every woman is a mother, grandmother or a daughter, every woman receives a special invitation to celebrate the sisterhood!

In addition to the Mother Daughter Banquet, we meet monthly for education and inspiration along with assisting in the preparation of Lenten dinners and hosting a number of Circles that meet monthly at different times and places. One such group is a Knitting Circle that gathers to knit prayer shawls, pray over them, and give to people who need some extra comfort in their lives. For information about our Circles, call the church office at 513.661.3139.
