Understanding Me...Understanding You: Leadership Styles

Understanding Me...Understanding You

Today we’re going to look at how people lead by looking at three primary leadership perspectives (Shepherd, Task Organizer, Vision Crier) and how we recognize them and how they see the world. When we understand ourselves and then see where the other person is coming from and we CHOOSE, that is an important word, to actively listen we are able to discern the next steps.

From Series: "Understanding Me...Understanding You"

Have you noticed how hard it is to have a heart to heart conversation with others? All over the news are examples of ‘ships passing in the night’ never attempting to understand where a person comes from, why or where they want to go. The church is like a net that catches all sorts of people that God woos into his kingdom through us and by the Holy Spirit. So how do we get along? How do we listen? How do we recognize the differences and reach deeply in our faith to be all that God desires? How do we understand ourselves so we can understand the other?
