A big thank you to all the volunteers and staff who dedicated their energy and time to help make Cincinnati’s Longest Ice Cream Sundae event a spectacular success. It couldn’t have happened without you!
On Saturday, November 8th you have a grand opportunity to share what God is laying on your heart for Westwood UMC and the future. We will be hosting the Missional Church Consultation Team who are looking for our stories, dreams interpretations of our future and what God has in store.
From your thoughts and prayers will come the prescriptions, the direction that will set our course for the coming months and years. So save the date, make your calendar open and marked for the gathering of everyone from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Kids’ Music Camp is coming to Westwood United Methodist Church and will run from July 29 to August 2 with a celebration in the sanctuary on August 4. Children age 4 through the sixth grade are invited to attend. Music Camp will begin at 1:00 p.m. each day and finish at 4:00 p.m. Anyone who can help can mark the Connection Card at Sunday worship or contact the church office at 513.661.3139.
For more information and to register your children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends please go to the church website at http://westwoodunitedmethodist.org/grow/children/special-events/musiccamp.
Cincinnati’s Longest Ice Cream Sundae will be on Saturday, August 10th. We are wanting to create community as a way to build relationships with our neighbors, as well as celebrate the wrap of summer for families. Jack Crego, a fifth grade student, developed this project for the See All the People mini grant as WUMC, where he was awarded $1000.
With you by our side at this upcoming event we are sure to achieve this delicious goal! The Ice Cream Sundae will be in front of Epworth Ave. wrapping around the church stretching 1.5 blocks.
WE NEED YOU to help put on this epic event. Hands are needed for both set up, take down, scoopers and clean up. To volunteer or ask questions please contact the church office at 513.661.3139.
Please join us on Thursday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. at My Neighbor’s Place to pray for our surrounding neighborhood. We will be walking and/or driving around praying for businesses, churches, residents and current issues/concerns. Join us for this inspirational and powerful time of prayer. We have seen exciting answers to our prayers! If you have any questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
