Ministry Spotlight – Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry at Westwood UMC is a fun, safe space to discover the awesome adventure of following Jesus!  Together we are learning God’s big story and how to live it out at home, school and in our neighborhood.  Our Children’s Ministry provides many wonderful opportunities for children and families to grow individually and together.

We offer Sunday School for all ages at both of our services, Kids Rock on Wednesday Nights for K-6th grades and Handbells for 4th – 6th grades.  We offer special events throughout the year to include the whole family such as our Rally Day Sunday and Blessing of the Backpacks, Trunk or Treat, Breakfast in Bethlehem, Christmas Spectacular, Family Christmas Eve Service, Great Easter Egg Hunt and Summer Family Events.  Our children can participate in a wide range of Summer Programs which include Vacation Bible School, Kids Music Camp, Sports Camp and a five-week Day Camp Program.  Westwood loves children and we want to help your children love Jesus and love being here with us.
